At the 8th Congress of The World Association of Valuation Organisations (WAVO), held in South Korea, a Memorandum of Cooperation between WAVO and The International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) was signed, a milestone in the development and recognition of the valuation profession at a global economic level.
Mr. Adrian Crivii, member for 8 years on the board of the World Association of Valuation Organizations, was present at this event.
This is a milestone event for the two global valuation bodies, and most significant for the global valuation profession. Under the MOC, IVSC and WAVO agree to jointly promote the importance of adopting the International Valuation Standards. WAVO will educate and train valuers on the IVSC standards, and IVSC will support and endorse the efforts of WAVO in encouraging its members and others in the adoption of the IVSC standards.
