A few businessmen, lovers of art and culture from Cluj-Napoca have recently set up the Club – Pro Transylvanian Opera, association meant to support the artistic act in Cluj, to allot funds and attract sponsorships for the rehabilitation and support of the National Romanian Opera in Cluj – Napoca, one of the iconic heritage buildings of the city.

Among the founder members of the Pro Opera Club can also be found Dr. ec. Adrian Crivii, General Manager of DARIAN DRS S.A., present next to the other founder members to the press conference that announced the establishment, purpose and sense of the association aimed to commonly make people from Cluj and the business sector realize what is the importance of supporting this valuable cultural institution for the city, community and national cultural heritage.

With the helo fo the business sector, those who laid the foundation of the Pro Transylvanian Opera Club desire that the institution benefits from financial aid to promote and perform opera productions, but also for other needs that such an institution has and, implicitly to attract funds for the rehabilitation of as many interior areas of the building as possible.

The endeavor is intended to be a financial plus, in parallel with subsidies from the state budget and the local administration, to ease the daily existence of the institution and for the long-range investment, that, most of the time are confronted with heavy legislative porcedures in the award of funds, successive delays or the absence of a constant financial aid dedicated to the heritage buildings.

Adrian Crivii, the founder of Darian DRS S.A., known among the business environment as a supporter of culture and the artistic act in general, but also of those who explore their limits in climbing or in other professional fields is optimist about the success of this new association that thus lays the foundations of a concept meant to develop the common spirit of cultural and artistic affiliation and to support concrete acts of investment and promotion of arts on thi segment.
