As many of you already know, Darian DRS was founded over 26 years ago, at the beginning of the Romanian market economy. Since then, we continued to innovate and be pioneers in our field of activity, to build new roads that others, further on, have followed.
If you love the mountains as we love our business, you will rather choose undiscovered trails, will reveal new climbing routes, the ultimate achievement of a climber. Going on paths already used by others is comfortable and almost safe, but choosing your own path brings tenfold more satisfaction.

You are not afraid of dangers, but you face them, manage your anxieties and always go up. Or, you take a step to the side if you need to rest your hands, body and mind – but only to still go further but more determined. Difficulties, obstacles, incidents, wounds caused by the hardness of the rock, all are found in our business.
What remains at the end is the ascension, permanently finding solutions in an ever-shifting terrain, the determination, self confidence and the confidence given by competence gained via professional training and solid experience. We haven’t arrived where we are not if we had not implemented these values in the daily life of the company, for 26 years. We are a team of young “climbers” – the most important asset of the company – which reinforce each other in a „well-orchestrated synergy”, each of us having relevant experience and professionalism advantages proven in numerous projects.
Reaching the top is nothing but providing the solution which the company we assist needs, and to also have the satisfaction of providing help and support where it was really needed.

We admire the tenacity, courage, long training of climbers and we try to assimilate them in our personal development. We seek the ambition tempered by wisdom, the ethics beyond ephemeral achievements and the joy to be different, but in line with the companies’ needs.
We value risks and make decisions with full responsibility, staring at our clients’ objective. We consider competition a factor for progress, but we believe that the biggest challenge remains the fight with ourselves, torment whose result leads to the best solution for our clients’ complex issues.
A renowned climber from Cluj reminded us that after climbing a difficult pick on a new route, nobody awaits you with flowers and cheers. It is what we find in Darian in all we undertake, we find solutions, we realise complex projects for the client, but we don’t expect applause and rewards.
Our reputation has been built over time, as an alpinist’s repeated climbing reinforced his reputation.
Observing what has been so far, we want to keep the same path: road building, walking on undiscovered paths as a team, with determination and success, for our customers by offering them best solutions.
We have always supported climbing and will continue to do it: we are those who have always supported, from the beginning, Vasile Cipcigan a well-known climber from Cluj, during the “Seven Steps on the roof of the world” and, more recently, during the last successful climbing on top of Manaslu (8,156 m) in the Himalayas.
We will continue to support Vasile in its ambitions objectives and also Vlad Căpuşan and Zsolt Torok, two well-known athletes in elite mountaineering, in climbing one of the Himalayan most technical peaks, Pumori (7161 m), by taking a new path.
We stand by those who know how to exceed their limits, to always have an ascending path, in spite of the difficulties, and those who know to achieve their goals using their own forces, while taking the team synergy to another level. In the end, the satisfaction is something more than money, more than words can say …
